I can't stop arguing with my partner about coronavirus risks

I’d be lying to you if I said my husband and I haven’t butted heads over coronavirus risks from time to time. And we’re not alone — Senior Reporter Brittany Wong interviewed therapists this week who said that these topics have been coming up repeatedly in their sessions: Everything from mask-wearing to sending kids back to school to assessing whether it’s safe to resume work in an office.

In 2014, a study found that three-quarters of white people don’t have any non-white friends. For every 100 friends a white American in the study had, 91 were white and one was Black, one was Asian, one was Latino and one was mixed-race. The average Black American had eight white friends and 83 Black friends, by comparison. Why is that?
