Plus, the right order for applying skin care products
| | Hello from Mild Regretsville, where I am already returning one of my Cyber Monday purchases. I made it through Black Friday without overspending, then got caught up in last-minute “savings” madness. Thankfully, the SodaStream I bought doesn’t work, so that silly decision is taking care of itself.
Check out these 5 psychological principles that often cause people to overspend. Any of them sound familiar? While buying a discounted SodaStream is not a big deal for most of us in the grand scheme of things, understanding why we do it helps us catch ourselves before overspending again in the future (and driving to Target, yet again).

| | | | | | | | | | | | You have one month left in the decade. What have you accomplished?
That’s the question in a popular tweet that prompted people to share promotions, graduations and marriages as well as the ways they’ve survived the last decade. Here’s how to think about your career instead. |

On compatible websites, Reader mode eliminates web ads, extra images and navigational elements so all you see when reaeding articles on your phone is a column of actual text. You can even choose to see text with light or dark backgrounds. |
