| | It’s practically a given that little boys will become fascinated with toy guns — or the idea of guns — at some point. Personally, we don’t allow guns of any kind, Nerf or LEGO or the like, in our home, and I know many parents who take a similar stance.
But does our worry and banning of these items really do anything, and do we even need to worry about it in the first place? Senior reporter Catherine Pearson, herself a mother of two young boys, wanted to know the answer before another toy gun made its way into her home. Turns out, our position, though seemingly logical, doesn’t really hold up in the face of research. Read what she found out here.
