I hope this reaches you all healthy, if not happy to be isolating. I am trying to find new joy in simple things, like drinking my coffee on the balcony, rediscovering how much I love egg salad on toasted buns, and having more time to read. I have been extremely fortunate so far, but I know it may not last. So I’m also trying to help out friends, get my “estate” in order, save as much as possible, set up a workspace for the long haul and spend more time on the phone with family.

How are you adjusting? Is there anything more we can do to help address your new lifestyle or the challenges you’re facing? Let me know at janie.campbell@huffpost.com.

But what if you’re outside your home and want to use and reuse gloves for grocery runs, pharmacy pickups or other errands?

Health experts weighed in, and they surprisingly don’t recommend wearing gloves at all. Here’s why:

Pro Tip:

Etiquette experts say tipping guidelines have shifted during the outbreak. Local restaurant delivery drivers and gig workers for companies like Instacart are putting themselves in harm’s way to bring goods to our doorsteps. And since customer tips make up a large portion of their income, experts have very specific recommendations for how much we should be tipping right now.

Here’s how much you should be tipping right now
