| No Images? Click here   Veteran journalist Gwen Ifill, who died of cancer last year at the age of 61, will be honored by her alma mater. Simmons College, the liberal arts college in Boston where Ifill graduated in 1977, is naming a school after her, the college announced Tuesday on the first anniversary of her death.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions declined to say this week whether he believes the Black Lives Matter movement is a “black identity extremist” group. But Rep. Karen Bass pressed the nation’s top law enforcement official about the controversial FBI report, which was revealed by Foreign Policy last month, and told HuffPost that the bureau needs to disown the report and “throw it in the trash can,” saying it makes racist generalizations about police brutality protesters.
  Cardi B isn’t done making money moves. The Bronx, New York, rapper just made history by becoming the first woman to chart her first three singles in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list simultaneously!  Of course, a lot of people on Twitter voiced their opinions about singer Blake Shelton being chosen People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2017. And aside from Shelton’s main squeeze, Gwen Stefani, many of them seem to have a completely different idea about who should have been honored with such a title. Like, oh, we dunno, a suave British actor who goes by the name Idris freaking Elba, perhaps?

The tennis champion and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian tied the knot on Thursday in New Orleans at the Contemporary Arts Center surrounded by friends and family.
