Click here   In 1991, sexual harassment was not a thing people were talking about ― until Anita Hill, a reserved law professor, testified to the Senate on Oct. 11 about what Clarence Thomas had done to her when she had worked for him. When she testified against Clarence Thomas, many men who should have been her allies stayed quiet.  The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery commissioned artists Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald to paint official portraits of Barack and Michelle Obama respectively, The Wall Street Journal reported.
  Women of color have been some of the biggest critics of the hashtag and boycott, questioning why they should join when similar issues of harassment against black and brown women on Twitter (including Jemele Hill and Leslie Jones) have gone largely unnoticed by their white peers.  Princess Nokia is taking credit for throwing soup on a racist subway passenger recently. Footage of a drunken white man identified as Paul Lawson repeatedly calling a group of black teens a racial slur has been making the rounds on social media since Tuesday. Holding a Lime-a-Rita on the L train in New York City, the man verbally assaults the group while another man tries to block his path to the passengers.
 Amber Rose held her third annual Amber Rose SlutWalk in Los Angeles on Oct. 1 before thousands of attendees ― alongside activists and other celebrities (including boyfriend 21 Savage and friend Blac Chyna) ― to promote women’s rights, sex positivity and sexual health awareness while condemning slut-shaming, victim-blaming and rape culture. We spoke with her about her goal with the SlutWalk and her overall mission is to empower and “make a difference."
