He’s a big Simon & Garfunkel fan, so I do a few of those, but I sprinkle in some old camp songs I know and occasionally some Beatles, too. I love those quiet moments with him and he listens to my (not very good) voice and drifts off to sleep.I sing him those songs because, well, he likes them, but also because I can’t remember any lullabies off the top of my head. And maybe that’s a good thing, because, as Caroline Bologna wrote last week, some lullabies are creepy AF.For years, parents around the world have lulled their babies to sleep singing seemingly innocuous songs that actually depict strange tales of menacing monsters or outright violence.
