For those of us who are actively staying home during the pandemic, you’ve likely watched more hours of Netflix in the past five months than you have in your entire life. So you might be running out of things to watch.
Fear not! Senior reporter Todd Van Luling put together two very helpful articles in the past week to help you mine your feed for new (or old!) movies and TV comedies to watch. So if you’re hankering for something you always meant to watch, check out Todd’s list here. We’re in the midst of a racial reckoning at the moment, and it feels as though real change could actually, finally happen. Many white Americans are taking stock of their own biases and are actively engaged in anti-racism. For parents, of course, teaching anti-racist beliefs start at home. That’s why I love this piece by Kelsey Borresen about the things white kids say about race that their parents should call out now. It serves as an excellent primer for parents to start actively rooting out biases at home. |
