Plus, should you mention your kids in your dating profile? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

If you’re currently dating, you know how challenging dating apps can be. And if you have kids, well, add another level of difficulty to that search for love. You don’t want to waste your precious time going on dates with people who aren’t interested in children, and while trying to get a feel for your chemistry with a person, you also have to assess if your kids will like them. And on top of all that, will they make a good parental figure?

And then there’s the #1 question from the outset: Should you even mention that you have kids in your profile? Where and how? Should you share photos of them? We have everything you need to know.

In case you missed it:

California State Senator Ling Ling Chang recently drafted a law that would outlaw sending unsolicited nude photos — be it on dating apps, in text messages or even via AirDrop. Her proposal would make cyber-flashers subject to an infraction on par with a driver receiving a speeding ticket. It makes sense: In the real world, indecent exposure is considered a crime, but the laws don’t extend to the digital space. “I want to respect consensual interactions online but we need to make clear that if you lead a conversation with this kind of lewd material, it’s a form of harassment,” Chang told HuffPost. “Women deserve better than this.”

Bye bye unwanted 🍆 pics.

hospital proposal

When Jillian Hanson got diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at age 25, she offered her boyfriend of three years, Max Allegretti, an “out” before her treatment ramped up. “Jillian told me that it was going to be hard and that she did not know what to expect with everything and if I couldn’t handle it, she wanted to know now,” Allegretti told HuffPost. “I completely disregarded everything she said.” After two years of intensive treatment, he got down on one knee and proposed on Hanson’s last day of chemo.
