If you’ve been following the news out of the UK, you’ll know that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently announced that they were stepping back from their royal duties. Rumors surrounding the decision abound, including one about a growing rift between Prince William and Prince Harry. The brothers’ body language at recent events and Harry’s admission several months ago that the pair have “good days and bad days” have only added fuel to the fire.

Even though they have royal titles, the situation is relatable to commoners like us. Sibling relationships change over time, and many people become estranged from their siblings in adulthood. Why does this happen — and can anything be done about it? Get the lowdown.

There’s something about seeing an ex with a new partner that can be really triggering, even if you were the one to call it off. Those feelings are due to our evolutionary need to bond, and they’re not always rational; they’re “a function of our monkey-mind survival drives doing their job to protect us,” therapist Lisa Marie Bobby told HuffPost. If you’ve ever struggled with feelings of inadequacy after an ex has moved on, this explainer is for you.

sleeping beauty

This is one of the best proposals I’ve seen in a long time — and trust me, I see a lot of them! Filmmaker Lee Loechler knew he’d have to be sneaky when proposing to his high school sweetheart, Sthuthi David. It took six months of planning, but he managed to have the couple animated into David’s favorite movie, “Sleeping Beauty,” and proposed after a viewing in a theater that he secretly filled with her family and friends. My little blurb really doesn’t do it justice.

This is definitely worth a watch
