Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) ― the caucus’ No. 2 member ― later followed suit as well.WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING?President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and announced the U.S. embassy would be moving there. “This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality,” the president said Wednesday of the controversial decision. The GOP is trying to figure out how not to shut down the government at Christmas.
