There are a lot of women to thank for this.Moore would've been a trainwreck of a senator when it comes to women's rights: He doesn't apparently believe women should even hold political office. He's also said that the U.S. should get rid of all the constitutional amendments passed after the Bill of Rights. Those include the ones banning slavery and giving women the right to vote. Before the election, nine extremely brave women came forward and revealed that Moore sought romantic relationships with them when they were teenagers and he was in his thirties. One described how Moore assaulted her when she was just 14. Their stories were the last straw for many in the staunchly Republican state.Coming forward wasn't easy and these women were dragged through the mud by Moore and his allies -- including President Donald Trump, writes HuffPost's Melissa Jeltsen. We owe them a huge dose of gratitude.A big thank you also absolutely goes out to the black women voters of Alabama. An astounding 98 percent of them voted for Jones. Black girl magic wins the day!The reality of being a woman — by the numbers.Like what you see? Share it with a friend. Did someone forward this email? Subscribe here. Can't get enough?
