If you know me, you know I talk a lot and at a mile a minute. But for the last few days I’ve been trying to listen and read. Listening to stories from around the country. Hearing the pain. Although it’s nothing new and has been around for far too long, something feels different this time.
I’ve heard from a lot of my friends who are fellow parents — especially white parents — trying to figure how to explain all this to our kids. We’ve batted about resources and people to follow on social media and books and I thought instead of a regular newsletter this week — these aren’t formulaic times after all — I’d share what I’ve found with you all.
