What to know about Amazon's Style Sale

Amazon pushed back Prime Day — which traditionally takes place in July — to September. But that doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait until then to get some good deals from Amazon.

For the first time ever, Amazon is having a week-long “Big Style Sale” on clothes and accessories. It's going on now through Sunday, June 28. The sale includes well-known brands like Levi’s and J.Crew, as well as Amazon-owned fashion brands like Amazon Essentials, Daily Ritual and Core10 (known for these top-rated leggings).

The sale also features deals on pricier designer brands from Shopbop (which is also owned by Amazon), like Loeffler Randall, LoveShackFancy and 7 For All Mankind.

Our shopping editors have been busy combing through the sale finding plus-size fashion on sale, summer clothes to beat the heat and lightweight loungewear, since real clothes are canceled.

Books for adults about anti-racism and activism

Literature about racism and anti-racism — like Ijeoma Oluo’s “So You Want To Talk About Race” and Ibram X. Kendi’s “How To Be An Anti-Racist” — have risen to the top of the New York Times' bestsellers list in the past few weeks. They’ve become so popular, in fact, that they’re selling out on store shelves.

But it’s important to remember that just reading about race, racism and anti-racism isn’t enough — you should be working actively against racism and supporting Black-owned businesses.
