The last two weeks have brought a reckoning in America, one we haven’t seen despite all the previous countless, preventable deaths of Black lives before now. Your anger and frustration is warranted, and your support for the Black Lives Matter movement is necessary.
But it doesn’t stop there. It’s important, too, to put your money where your heart is. That’s why I’ve loved these stories from the past week that not only highlight Black-owned businesses, but also share the personal stories and emotions of being a Black business owner right now.
