A viral Twitter thread highlighted this under-discussed symptom recently, and the description is so on-point. I recommend everyone read it ASAP.Today is also World Suicide Prevention Day. I wrote a story about suicide hotlines and how we need to do more than post a crisis number on social media after a high-profile suicide. Sharing a hotline isn’t a solution to the problem, it’s a Band-Aid. Experts shared with me what we should be doing for suicide prevention instead.
