MYLES GARRETT SLAMMED FOR 'DISGUSTING' ATTACK The Pittsburgh Steelers-Cleveland Browns football game got ugly in its final moments Thursday night. With 8 seconds left on the clock for the Browns’ 21-7 win, a brawl broke out as Myles Garrett tackled Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph. TRUMP ASKS SUPREME COURT TO HALT TAX RETURN RELEASE  The request his lawyers filed is a last-ditch effort to reverse rulings directing his accountants to give New York prosecutors eight years of his tax returns, which he has long refused to make public. [HuffPost]


W.H. BUDGET OFFICIAL WILL TESTIFY IF SUBPOENAED White House budget official Mark Sandy will give testimony in a closed session of the House impeachment inquiry if he is subpoenaed, his lawyer said. House committees have routinely issued subpoenas for witnesses to appear in the inquiry. [Reuters]


GIULIANI JOKES HE HAS 'INSURANCE'  In a phone interview with The Guardian, journalist Stephanie Kirchgaessner asked the president’s personal attorney if he was nervous that Trump might throw him under the bus. ISLAMIC JIHAD AND ISRAEL REACH TENUOUS TRUCE IN GAZA    Islamic Jihad said an Egyptian-mediated truce went into effect about 48 hours after Israel triggered the exchange of fire by killing the Iranian-backed faction’s top Gaza commander in an airstrike.
