One artist's powerful response to sexual violence

And one artist wants to change the way we look at feminine sexuality.  In her new installation and portrait series for the Amber Rose SlutWalk, artist Maggie West celebrates feminine sexual expression in a culture that so often shames it. “Rather than be celebrated for their purity, this piece ... pays tribute to women’s freedom to sexually express themselves and protest sexual violence,” she said.  West chose to call it “98″ based on the Department of Justice statistic that every 98 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted.    Shine on, lady bosses.
