That’s the message South African plus-size model, blogger and photographer Lesego “Lee” Legobane had for a Twitter troll who attempted to make a joke using her image.  Jerhonda Pace, who broke a nondisclosure agreement to accuse R. Kelly of sexual abuse, made her first televised appearance on the talk show “The Real” on Monday. During her interview, the 24-year-old said that when she was 16, Kelly introduced her to another woman in his alleged sex cult called “the trainer.”  Thank you is the simple message Serena Williams has for her mom. On Tuesday, Williams shared an open letter on Reddit written for mother Oracene Price, who has been credited with helping coach her daughter to superstar status.  Issa Rae was unabashed about who she was supporting at the 2017 Emmys. Variety asked the “Insecure” creator and star who she was rooting for at Sunday night’s awards and her response was perfect. “I’m rooting for everybody black,” she replied. “I am!” Same, sis. Family and friends of Kenneka Jenkins, a teenager found dead last week in the freezer of a Chicago-area hotel, want the FBI to investigate after local police said they don’t suspect foul play. Jenkins, 19, went missing Sept. 8. Her body was found two days later in a walk-in freezer at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont. Rosemont police said they are investigating a death, not a homicide. "When I saw this piece by Very Smart Brothers, I thought maybe, just maybe, that space was being created for Black women to be both Black and female. But my God, after reading the comments, I realized how far we still have to go. So, let me try to break some things down."
