No Images? Click here Warren Is On ItFormer Starbucks CEO and current billionaire presidential contender Howard Schultz had the audacity to call Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren's serious tax policy proposal "ridiculous" this week. She did not stand for that. Warren went off just like she did back in the day when she was fighting against the Big Banks in the wake of the financial crisis. It's great to see Warren and and other women like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) out there lately railing against income inequality. AOC also pushed back on Schultz this week. The gap between those at the tippy top and everyone else is an even more pressing issue for women, as extreme wealth inequality serves to exacerbate the gender pay gap. (Most of the billionaires out there are guys, is the thing.) These women have managed to do more to shakeup the conversation and draw attention to real policy proposals than a candidate like Schultz, who seems to be against more things (higher taxes, a divided America?) then he is for (coffee? billionaires?) On Tuesday afternoon, Warren threw even more cold water on Schultz’s political aspirations in an interview with HuffPost. You can follow me on Twitter @EmilyRPeckGood Reads:
