Here's what you need to know.  The U.S. government shut down at 12 a.m. EST Saturday after members of Congress failed to reach and agreement on spending. The House passed a short-term spending bill Thursday night, but the Senate didn’t pass the legislation before the midnight deadline, with members disagreeing on protections for young undocumented immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children, aide to Puerto Rico and more.
