The more you know When you think of the word "editor," the dictionary likely doesn't come to mind, but there are people assigned to edit and compile such an exhaustive work. Reporter Taylor Pittman chatted with two dictionary editors, also known as lexicographers, about what it's like to add words to a dictionary and to keep up with their changing meanings. Spoiler alert: Their jobs don't necessarily make them better at Scrabble, but they are proud of their contribution to the words we use every day.
