Hi friends,
I sincerely hope this email finds you healthy and not too anxious. This week, I’m sharing info on what you need to know about face masks and your kids.
Since the CDC recommends everyone wear a face mask in public during the coronavirus pandemic, parents are probably wondering what that means for their young kids.
So senior reporter Catherine Pearson spoke with several experts to get their tips on how to get their kids to wear masks, what ages kids should start wearing them (hint: do NOT put one on children under 2!), and how to practice safe social distancing with kids in the first place. Here’s what you need to know if you’re a parent of young kids.
Until next week, be well everyone! Kate

Social distancing isn’t always in human nature, so it’s no wonder it’s challenging for so many of us. It can be even harder for children on the spectrum. Senior reporter Catherine Pearson spoke to several parents of children with autism to see how their lives have changed and how everyone’s doing during the pandemic. |
