But in Mueller’s report and on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show Thursday, she wouldn’t use the L-word. She claimed it was a “slip of the tongue.” [HuffPost]HOW BARR MISLED THE PUBLIC Trump has long wished for an attorney general who would act as his own private lawyer, protecting him from any potential legal damage. He finally found his man in William Barr. The Mueller report paints a much more complicated picture of whether Trump obstructed justice than Barr let on. [HuffPost]REPUBLICAN PASSED FBI INFO TO WHITE HOUSE Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) shared information with the White House about the FBI’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to Mueller’s report. The news is a blow to the notion that Burr has been relatively free from bias while leading his committee’s own investigation. [Reuters]NORTH KOREA WANTS ‘MATURE’ POMPEO REPLACEMENT North Korea said it no longer wanted to deal with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and said he should be replaced in talks by someone more mature, hours after it announced its first weapons test since nuclear talks broke down. [Reuters]PARIS CONSIDERS TEMPORARY CATHEDRAL French officials are planning to construct a temporary wooden cathedral on the esplanade in front of Notre Dame while it is being rebuilt. Notre Dame’s chief priest suggested an “ephemeral cathedral” would give faithful Catholics a place to congregate until the 850-year-old architectural treasure reopens. [HuffPost]
