This week, we looked at "Venmo creeping" and learned why it pays to hit that “unfriend” button post-split.Speaking of awkward situations, we also have the lowdown on queefing during sex. (Yes, queefs are those embarrassing fart-esque sounds your vagina makes to kill the vibe.) Senior reporter Kelsey Borresen talked to gynecologists and sex therapists to learn more about what causes this and how to respond when it happens in the heat of the moment. One in three teenage girls in the U.S. are victims of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner ― a number that greatly exceeds rates of other types of youth violence. In spite of its prevalence, nearly 81% of parents believe teen dating violence is not an issue or admit they don’t know about it. Prevention starts with teaching teens and preteens what emotional abuse looks like. Here’s what experts said we should be teaching boys and girls starting in middle school.
