Plus, Clare Crawley becomes the oldest 'Bachelorette' in show's history
| | Hi there!
All right, I know this is the entertainment newsletter, but how is everyone holding up in the primary season? I've been keeping a close eye on the race, especially at the South Carolina primary. (In January, two of my colleagues and I went to Columbia, South Carolina, to report on Black voters. Our piece, "Black At The Ballot," is here.) But there have been a few entertainment-y things to keep your attention in this election cycle: I will never be able to unsee Tom Steyer dancing to "Back Dat Azz Up." And it is wild to see that Public Enemy has kicked Flavor Flav out of the group over his stance on Bernie Sanders. What a whirlwind. Hit me with your hot takes on the 2020 election. Extra points for anyone who can infuse a little pop culture into their political takeaways.
