Click here   By Paul Vale     Friday, November 2 TRUMP: WE’LL DENY ASYLUM TO ILLEGAL MIGRANTS President Donald Trump said his administration is finalizing a plan to deny asylum to migrants who cross into the U.S. illegally — a move sure to draw legal challenges if he follows through. The president also said he told the armed troops he deployed to the border they could open fire if migrants throw rocks at them. Steve King (R-Iowa) was so upset by a voter’s question about his white supremacist rhetoric that he asked security to remove the questioner during a Thursday candidate forum in his home state. Meanwhile, two more corporate donors confirmed they would no longer support King because of his white nationalism and ties to far-right groups abroad. [HuffPost] KOBACH CALLED RACIST ON CNN Lawyer Jeffrey Toobin slammed Kris Kobach, the Republican candidate for governor in Kansas, telling him to his face on CNN that he'd spent his career “stopping black people and poor people from voting.” Even worse for Kobach, he’s locked in a virtual tie with Democrat Laura Kelly — in a state Trump carried by 20 points. [Bloomberg] POMPEO: KHASHOGGI SANCTIONS SOON Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said it would be a “handful more weeks” before the Trump administration had enough evidence to impose sanctions in response to the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
