[CNN]YOUTUBE CONSPIRACY THEORY CRACKDOWN Early this year, YouTube adjusted its recommendation algorithm to deprioritize conspiracy theories. Previously, users who watched hoax videos could easily be pulled into an echo chamber of disinformation by YouTube’s autoplay function.
