As one man who’s dealt with the issue told me, “I think I stayed a virgin for so long because I let my dysmorphia consume me. I adopted a defeatist mentality.”There are definitely ways to address the problem, though, and the fixes don’t involve surgery or anything else too drastic. Here’s what medical experts say men facing the issue should do.

When Tara Foley’s 102-year-old grandmother, Stasia, was put in hospice care in Naples, Florida, last winter, she told nurses she wanted to make it to Tara’s Austin, Texas, wedding in June. But she was told she couldn’t fly because of her heart condition. Tara knew she couldn’t let her nana miss out, so months before the wedding, she flew to Florida to give her grandma a sneak peak at her wedding dress, which wasn’t even altered yet. The photos from the day (as well as the full story) are so touching.
