And this is not the first time either—another woman alleged in 2011 that she was abducted and raped by him. Both women have said that there are “others like them”. Meanwhile, in some good news, Chandrayaan 2, which is currently orbiting the moon, will attempt the soft landing of its Vikram module on the lunar surface on 7 September. Reports say he is close to Uttar Pradesh chief minister and they are disciples of the same guru.The law student’s accusations against Chinmayanand also seem to bear eerie similarities to separate allegations made against him in 2011.There are 11 days to go before Chandrayaan 2 attempts the soft landing of its Vikram module on the lunar surface on 7 September. Some other objectives of the mission include studying the surface of the moon and studying the density of the electrons in the moon’s ionosphere.If successful, the mission will make India the fourth country after Russia, the US and China to achieve the feat.New to this email?
