A$AP Rocky charged with assault in Sweden

In case you haven't been following the A$AP Rocky news, he is currently in Swedish jail and has been charged with assault following a confrontation he had with a man. Since his arrest on July 3, Democratic lawmakers and celebrities have called for his release. Kanye West and his wife stepped in earlier this week to call on Trump to help free the Harlem rapper. He tried, offering to pay Rocky's bail during a call with the Swedish prime minister (even though they don't have a bail system). Kamala Harris commented on Trump's involvement, saying it was a misuse of power. Rocky will remain in custody until his trial.  The NAACP has passed a resolution calling for Trump's impeachment. On Tuesday, president and CEO Derrick Johnson accused Trump of leading “one of the most racist and xenophobic administrations since the Jim Crow era.”  Also this week, Meek Mill is finally off probation. A court ruled on Wednesday that he will be granted a new judge and new trial for his 2008 drug and gun conviction.
