Kelly held in a Chicago jail without bond on sex-related charges, saying that the R&B singer failed to convince the court that he would not commit new crimes if released. [AP]ACLU SUES TRUMP ADMINISTRATION The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration over a new rule that would virtually end asylum protections for Central American migrants. [HuffPost]KAMALA HARRIS RESPONDS TO ‘NOT BLACK ENOUGH’ COMMENTS Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris said questions about whether she is “black enough” to represent the black community are offensive. “It is challenging ... and to be honest with you, it is also hurtful,” she said. [HuffPost]ANOTHER MISSISSIPPI CANDIDATE ‘NEEDS’ CHAPERONE Former Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Bill Waller Jr., a Republican candidate for governor of the state, said that he refuses to be alone in a room with a woman who is not his wife.
