I also caught up on "The Good Place" and started "The Act." I had been really looking forward to Ryan Murphy's first Netflix project, "The Politician," starring Ben Platt and Gwyneth Paltrow, but the first season was a bit all over the place for me. (Though I must admit the season finale left me feeling hopeful for a better second season. I don't think I can resist Bette Midler and Judith Light.)
