The complaint to Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson claims Trump made troubling “promises” during communications with a foreign leader. [HuffPost]CONGRESS IS BAILING OUT TRUMP’S FARM BAILOUT Democrats are doing the Trump administration a favor that Republicans wouldn’t have done for Obama. Trump has given so much extra money to American farms harmed by his trade war that the U.S. Department of Agriculture is nearing a legal limit. House Democrats voted for a measure that keeps the bailouts flowing. [HuffPost]TRUMP SUES TO BLOCK RELEASE OF TAX RETURNS Trump filed a lawsuit against Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and Mazars USA, the president’s longtime accounting firm, in an attempt to prevent his tax returns from being released. [HuffPost]Businessman Ralph Taylor, who learned he is 4% Black from a DNA test, is classified as Black by his state government and White by the federal government. This racial inconsistency means he’s eligible for affirmative action programs in Washington state, but not in Washington, D.C. But critics say he’s abusing the program and undermining the very concept of racial identity.
