Click here Michael Cohen, who worked for more than a decade as Donald Trump’s loyal personal attorney, pled guilty to charges relating to bank fraud, tax fraud and campaign finance violations “at the direction of a candidate for federal office” in a New York court Tuesday afternoon.Cohen says the unnamed candidate, ostensibly Trump, acted for the purpose of influencing the election. He has also pled guilty to five counts of tax evasion, two counts related to an illegal campaign contribution and one count of making a false statement.The plea announcement came shortly after multiple outlets reported that Cohen had reached a plea deal with prosecutors of the Southern District of New York.WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING?Trump's ex-campaign manager Paul Manafort was found guilty on eight counts in the first trial test of Robert Mueller's probe. But the judge declared a mistrial on the 10 counts jurors could not agree upon.Trump implied taking away security clearances is punishment for criticizing him. The president suggested that former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper “is being nice to me” to prevent the removal of his security clearance.The Miami Herald endorsed a candidate who once claimed she was abducted by aliens. “Here’s why we chose her: She’s not crazy,” the editorial page editor said about the GOP House contender.ICYMI
