Click here Credit: Chaz Niell/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images Don't Mess With Her TutuSerena Williams rocked a tutu at the U.S. Open this week, in the midst of a (ridiculous) controversy over an outfit she wore on the court last May, writes HuffPost's Jenna Amatulli. The tutu look followed comments from Bernard Giudicelli, the president of the French Tennis Federation. He said the French Open would ban catsuits, after Williams wore one during the 2018 tournament. More galling than the policing of women's outfits, is that the “Black Panther”-inspired suit was actually helpful in preventing Williams' from getting blood clots, related to giving birth. (Read this NYT piece for more on how female players dress for tournaments.) Williams shrugged off the catsuit ban in a subsequent interview but her most emphatic response came on the court.
