John McCain (R-Ariz.). Instead, Trump tweeted a noticeably curt reaction to the passing, a post that even rankled Fox News. “Still not a kind word about McCain himself,” commented Brit Hume. As for McCain’s funeral, former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush have been invited to give eulogies. Trump was even not invited to attend.
