It wasn’t clear whether campaign donors obtained letters of recommendation from elected officials based solely on contributions. Here’s why the college admissions process is already a scam. The orders, which include a ban on airlines using the U.S.-made jet for flights to, from or over Britain, leave the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration nearly alone in refusing to ground the planes. [HuffPost]CARLSON’S MISS TEEN USA “JOKES” EMERGE Embattled Fox News host Tucker Carlson made sexually explicit jokes about a Miss Teen USA contestant in the latest unearthed audio from 2007. She’s ripe for the taking.” [HuffPost]TRUMP’S TRANSGENDER TROOPS BAN BEGINS The policy, which has been the subject of court challenges, will take effect on April 12. TO ISSUE DEATH PENALTY MORATORIUM The 737 inmates on America’s largest death row are getting a reprieve from Gov. [BBC]SCHIFF: 2ND TERM COULD SPARE TRUMP PRISON House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has said that Trump is essentially an unindicted co-conspirator in the felony hush-money scheme that is sending Michael Cohen to prison for three years. The statute of limitations for that crime runs out in five years, meaning Trump may escape prosecution if he wins re-election. [HuffPost]
