He cited what he called “an ongoing theory” that the killer is actually a leftist trying to “smear his political enemies.” [HuffPost]MUSLIMS PRAISE NZ PM FOR EMPATHY American Muslims are praising New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s response to the mosque massacre. They are pointing out how Ardern’s sincerity and condemnation of the killer’s actions and ideology sharply contrast with the way Trump has responded to white supremacists in the past. [HuffPost]

The call comes after Pirro’s Saturday night program, “Justice With Judge Jeanine,” was yanked by Fox after she said in the previous episode that the hijab worn by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) may be “antithetical to the Constitution.” [HuffPost]DONNA BRAZILE JOINS FOX NEWS The former Democratic National Committee chief and CNN contributor has joined Fox News as a political commentator, saying it is “time for civility.” Brazile was ousted as a contributor at CNN after emails hacked by Russian operatives and released by WikiLeaks showed that she leaked debate questions to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Entertainment chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara has stepped down amid sexual misconduct investigations into his relationship with British actress Charlotte Kirk, whom he allegedly helped secure roles in major studio projects. [HuffPost]PUTIN SIGNS 'FAKE NEWS' LAW Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a set of laws allowing the Kremlin to punish online media and individuals for spreading insulting information about government officials or other content deemed to be “fake news.” The country’s Presidential Human Rights Council has raised concern that the measures could be used to unfairly silence critics ― a fear that has grown with many Putin opponents turning up poisoned or mysteriously dead in recent years.
