Kelly — or “Robert,” as we now call him — sat down for an interview with CBS This Morning host Gayle King that quickly (and predictably) turned bizarre.Responding to the most recent sexual abuse allegations levied against him, the former R&B superstar claimed his biggest crime is having a heart that’s “too big.” And going further, he claimed double jeopardy laws make previous allegations against him inadmissible due to his acquittal in one 2008 sexual abuse case. That, of course, is not at all how double jeopardy works. But Robert’s defense, paired with his constant motioning to the camera, screaming, and crying, seemed to be the behaviors of a man who knows punishment is on the horizon. This week's Top Stories Let's get to it.
